Children from Rosehill ready had a great time searching for minibeast this afternoon. After reading a book all about minibeasts, we knew just where to look!
We rummaged among the leaves and grass, lifted logs and dug in the ground; we did this carefully so that we didn’t harm or damage any habitats or wildlife.
We managed to find lots of minibeasts: spiders, millipede, worms, snails, slugs and woodlouse.
We finished off the afternoon making our own clay creatures, climbing in the tree and testing our gross motor skills!
